REPORT OF THE TREASURER: Treasurer Don Etheridge let us know that the Obedience/Rally Trials in Longview made around $1,100.  Recent expenses were restocking collars and leashes and fees to USDAA for our 2011 Trials.  A motion was made, seconded and passed approving Don’s report.  A full copy of the financial report is available to any member upon request.

REPORT OF THE VICE PRESIDENT: Vice President Mary Jenkins let us know about some upcoming events.

ETSF Demo Wednesday September 29 - 6:30 to 8:00 PM.  We will have Agility, Obedience and the Drill Team.

West Tyler Veterinary Demo – Oct 2 – From noon to 2:00 PM

Lindale County Fest October 9

Rose Parade October 16

Instructor Workshop – November 13 at Lucky Dog Park

Christmas Parade December 2

Annual Meeting, Awards & Christmas Banquet – December 9, 6:00-10:00 PM

At any of our demos we need people with all levels of experience.  As long as your dog can deal with crowds you can help!

REPORT OF THE TRAINING DIRECTOR: Training Director Joyce Anderson reminded us that our Fall Classes were about to start.  She still needed a Rally instructor and assistants.

REPORT OF THE TRAINING SECRETARY: Training Secretary Carl Strange said he would need help with registration on the next Tuesday and for TOTC people to be there by 6:00 PM.  June Cook had already volunteered to help.  He also said that we would have a “Meet the Trainer” event at PetLand from noon to 2:00 PM on Saturday the 4th and that Mary Jones had volunteered to be there to register people for classes.  Special thanks to June and Mary!

COMMITTEES:  Reports deferred until the next meeting.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Robin and Dave Visniski were celebrating the pouring of the slab for the new climate controlled room!  Dave said that building construction was expected to start in a couple of weeks.  Don asked for a showing of how many people in attendance would participate in the Christmas parade.  Enough people raised their hands so he will send in our application for a spot.

Harry adjourned the meeting at 6:55 PM.
